Sanding and re-finishing of tops, doors, drawers and carcasses - re-oiling, staining and finishing due to heat or water damage - paint repairs and touching up to doors, drawers and carcasses - hinges, handles, glass etc. repaired or replaced.
Your 24 month repair service begins from the date of purchase.
Whilst we endeavor to repair your furniture to its original condition there may be some difference in finish or colour of the repaired area due to historic changes in your natural oak product or original paint finish, however all repairs will be undertaken to the best of our ability.
Some sanding, airbrush spray painting, filling, staining, oiling etc.. may be required to undertake a satisfactory repair therefore for any repairs which may take place within your home or business it is the customers responsibility to protect any other furniture, carpets etc. and individual items within the room. Replacement of any furniture hardware will be as matching only when a direct match can be sourced. Failing a direct match then a closest alternative will be sourced for the damaged item only, should you wish to replace any other fittings then the cost of those replacements will be chargeable.
We take no responsibility for any dust, over-spray or any other potential byproduct of the repair if the customer has failed to make the necessary precautions before our visit; this includes carpets and soft furnishings leading to the room where the repair will take place. For insurance & Health and Safety reasons the technician will not be able to remove any outdoor footwear.
Your furniture is covered for x2 damaged areas per piece for either a home visit free-of-charge per 12 month period for furniture within a 20 mile radius of our workshop at YO13 9QP (call-outs further afield will only incur a £2 charge per additional mile) or for x2 damaged areas per piece to be brought into our workshop at YO13 9QP. Whether the damaged piece is eligible for either a home visit or for return to our workshop will be determined by ourselves based on technician availability and product size/location. Should a home visit be decided on by us then two possible (office hour) dates and times will be offered to you - should you be unavailable for either of the proposed dates/times then a call out charge of £49.99 may be incurred for additional dates and times.
Please ensure you are available for any pre-arranged appointments - should a customer fail to honour a pre-arranged repair appointment for any reason whatsoever then that visit will be considered a fully completed call-out.
